Gradually these games moved into other areas of entertainment and are often now exclusively developed as video games, allowing us to now live and breathe as our heroes in a more visual and interactive experience.
Games that are inspired and only limited by our imagination and creativity in driving the game ever onwards through our choices and story-telling. RPGs, as we know them now, are in fact inspired by the tabletop role-playing board games, such as Dungeons & Dragons and Warhammer.
